I think it is here to stay, but will eventually become less popular as people grow up. It really seems to only be the younger minds keeping it alive. I use to think it was the best back in college years ago, but now for about 2 years my account has been deactivated and when talking with friends they use it now only to update friends/family of important life news vs updates that no one really cares about.
I beleive it is here to stay. extreme Narcissim has become a way of life, and whether it’s FB, instagram, twitter or some social site yet to come, the desperate need for a sense of acceptance is real.

I think it is here to stay and will continue to evolve as the users evolve.

I think we will reach a breaking point with certain platforms, but there will always be another one. I don’t think it will ever go away.
Here to stay. For better and worse.
