A picture of a woman seated on her couch with her dog

Finally Home

We are stuck at home
Simplifying our hearts
Clearing out the clutter
Making room for something

Something far better
That could heal us

For in your home,
There is a heart
Go grow a garden
Bake bread
Be a neighbor once again

For you are finally home
Confronted with the daily mess
Of the world and her beauty

Stock up your pantry with
Faith
Hope
And extra love

Make music if you can’t make money
Spend quality time, not credit

Call your mom
Write a letter
Deep belly laughter is medicine
Find sunlight
For you are finally home,
And there may you find
Peace
