What’s In My Bag Wednesdays: Social Media Manager Edition

CASSIDY BOATRIGHT

We’re always wondering what other women are carrying around inside of their purses (in a non-creepy way, of course) so we thought it would be fun for you to get to know the women behind Darling Magazine a little bit better by taking a look inside of our bags.

Here’s what Darling Visual Media Manager, Cassidy Boatright, carries around most often:

As you can imagine, working at Darling as Visual Media Manager, as well as finishing my senior year of college — I have a pretty full plate. I don’t have much time as I’m darting between classes, meetings, photo sets, and then a coffee date when I can squeeze one in with a friend. Here’s a peek inside my handbag…

This beautiful sable-colored bag is from Cuyana. Not only are their products both beautiful and functional, Cuyana is a female-owned company that also gives back. If you want to feel good about your next bag purchase, I’d highly recommend them. My wallet is from Need Supply Co. I love the size of it, the feel of the leather, and can even slip my phone into it, if need be.

I can’t survive without a great planner, which is why I am absolutely obsessed with Appointed. Their slogan is, “Beautiful tools to inspire beautiful work.” I can attest to this and say that I feel genuinely inspired when reaching for these beautiful notebooks, planners, and other organizational supplies.

Obviously, tech is a huge part of my every-day. There aren’t many moments in my day where I’m not reaching for my computer or iPhone to schedule a social post or snap a BTS shot on set. One of my favorite tech brands is Tech21. They have durable, affordable iPhone cases that still look sleek and non-bulky. And then to protect my own personal holy grail (Macbook) I have this lovely leather case from Cuyana.

I can’t go on enough about my Felix Gray glasses. They work to cut the blue light that our screens emit and cause a whole host of eye-health issues. Since I’ve been using them, I’ve noticed a significant impact when I wear them in front of my computer for hours on end.

And last but not least, for a quick-refresh, I roll on a bit of this Philosophy Amazing Grace perfume. I love the musky scent and it gives me the perfect boost to get through the rest of my day. My key chain tassel is from Target and my sunnies are Urban Outfitters — and are perfect for slipping on as I run to my next appointment to conquer the world one Instagram post at a time, wink wink.

Oh Lord. I don’t know what to do as I have tons of work to do next week semester. Plus the university exams are approaching, it will be a disaster. I am already losing sleep maybe I should Contact to calm down a little bit. Hopefully it will all go well. Wish me luck.

That Cuyana laptop case has had my eye for a year now – it’s just that I own an 11″ MacBook Air (my iMac does all the heavy-lifting) and they only make 13″ and 15″ sizes. Such a shame, as it is truly beautiful!

Planner tutorial next pls. Appointed is amazing!

  • Wow, the contents of your bag look so good when matched together. Really nice colour palette! My bag is usually a black hole of junk and random items, haha.
