Spa Kit / Bathe Well

Why we love it: Lately we’ve been all about skipping the salon in favor of at-home beauty regimens, and this kit from Portland General Store is making it all the more enticing to draw a bath, silence our phones and soak in some relaxation for awhile. BatheWell kits contain everything you need to (organically + naturally) pamper yourself, including a washcloth, face + body oil, toner, shampoo bar and our favorite: cold cream.

Lipstick (Blood Orange) / Cate McNabb
Why we love it: This cruelty-free, mineral-based lipstick is the perfect accessory for rising temps when we want next to nothing on our skin. It’s a beautifully bold pigment (in a great orange-meets-red color that we think would look awesome on any skin tone) that’s creamy so it doesn’t flake, yet substantial enough so it can last all day.

Alkaline Water / 1907
Why we love it: We know. It’s water. Yet, we live in a day and age where we can never be too aware of the many ways to counteract the stressors and toxins wreaking havoc on our bodies. We love how New Zealand-based 1907water has a natural alkalinity that helps balance the body’s acidity levels, reducing the negative effects caused by stress, lack of sleep and poor diet. It’s an easy way to stay healthy by staying hydrated. Plus, their aesthetic is great, too!

Stone + Snare Wire Necklace / Dsenyo
Why we love it: The project behind this jewelry aims to protect Africa’s largest lion, wild dog and leopard populations in the South Luangwa, Zambia region from illegal poaching. Using actual snare wire collected by anti-poaching patrols, women and artisans are employed to create beautiful necklaces, earrings and keychains. We love the idea of transforming something intended for harm (especially toward African wildlife) into something beautiful, sustainable and redemptive. Learn more about Dsenyo by watching their Kickstarter campaign, here!

Camping Perfume / Juniper Ridge
Why we love it: Want to know what the West Coast smells like? A bottle of Juniper Ridge perfume. A self-proclaimed “wild fragrance company”, they distill colognes and perfumes from real plants, bark, moss, mushrooms, and tree trimmings found hiking the backcountry. You can’t get any closer to the outdoors than you can with one of their scents … unless, you know, you pitched a tent right out there with them.

Technology Wipes / Well-Kept
Why we love it: Read this and you’ll soon understand why we’ve been using these little sheets around the clock. It’s amazing how much dirt and grime will collect in the rim around your cellphone case or in between the keys of your laptop, so we’re now happily indebted to carrying a Well-Kept pack wherever we go. They also make it a point to give back a portion of sales to different organizations doing good. Check out their full list, here!
