Intention is key with everything, right? Which is why we’re loving this Glitter Guide article about curating a home that best welcomes others and also reflects your own unique style. They had blogger and designer Amanda Risius share her process for creating a space, and we’re pumped to share her advice (and handy workbook) with you, too. Below!

Do you struggle with the process of picking out furniture or art because you aren’t sure what your style is or if it will match your current décor? Do you wish you could decorate your home beautifully with ease like the pros? The key to confidently creating a home you love is knowing your decorating style. Knowing your style will give you a plan to follow and make decisions much easier. I’m going to show you exactly how to determine your decorating style with five simple exercises.

In our quest to prioritize what we “really” need in our wardrobes, we’re finding that multi-use is key. That’s why we’re grateful to the ladies of the Glitter Guide for putting together this round-up and for reminding us that more doesn’t have to — literally — mean more.

A trench coat is a classic staple that we believe should be in every woman’s closet and we’ve rounded up six ways to show you how versatile this piece can be this spring. Bring on those showers!

From GG’s

Like so many women say, being a mom is the most rewarding, joyful and challenging part of my life. It’s hard to believe that my daughter, Piper, is almost 8 months old! I’ve learned a lot in my motherhood journey so far — and one of the biggest things I’ve learned is how precious our time is. It’s hard not to feel burned out when you’re trying to juggle it all — working full-time while being a present mother, wife and friend, as well as keeping up with household tasks like laundry, trying to make your own organic baby food, the list goes on!

Aren’t we all looking for ways to save money, save time, and eat healthier? That’s why we’re amped on this latest post from the Glitter Guide, walking you through what it looks like to (actually) meal plan and pack your week full of purposeful meals. Below Almila Kakinc shares her tips for batch cooking!

Coming home from work after a long day, many hear the calling of their bed more than the growling of their stomach. Often, it can seem too grueling of a task to cook a meal. I work until 7:00 p.m. and my commute back home takes an hour. Once I’m home, I want to be able to unwind at the dinner table and not think about what meal to make. So, I have become a whiz at structuring my time and grocery shopping routine to allow for making efficient meals that are readily available for me during work days.

Another winning tutorial from the Glitter Guide! Who hasn’t felt less-than-inspired when it comes to winter style? Especially when it involves our hair and a hat can look e-x-t-r-a inviting. These simple yet chic hairstyles prove that comfort and glam don’t have to be mutually exclusive; get ready to love sweater weather even more.

From Maritza Buelvas:

It’s a wonderful time for dressing up your hair in relaxed and romantic up-do’s that can enhance any look, even chunky sweaters, layered outfits or hats. These hairstyles can easily become your favorite fall “accessory” — we’re talking no-heat, no-fuss styles that’ll get you out the door fast so you’re never fashionably late!

We love this insightful interview from the beauty team over at the Glitter Guide. Aging is often given a bad rep among women, but why? Who says it’s a thing to be feared rather than embraced? Perhaps if more of us took the perspective that’s detailed below, we’ll begin to hear, see and feel such a needed change.

It’s no secret that the media’s portrayal and treatment of older women isn’t always positive. Actresses often speak out about the lack of roles made available for women over 30. Gray hairs and wrinkles are usually airbrushed out, or simply avoided at all costs.

These unfair societal standards and skewed perceptions of beauty are exactly what inspired Taylor Chang-Babaian — a celebrity makeup artist and author — to write her latest book, “Beauty Rewind.” The book is dedicated to helping older women recognize their worth and beauty despite the oft-stigmatized aging process. We sat down with the beauty buff to talk skin care, hair care and what it means to be your best self. Read all about her perspective below!

How timely is this article from the Glitter Guide? Hitting on how so many of us can feel on a Monday morning, they’re sharing a host of inventive solutions for combatting the mid-day spike of stress and tension. Our favorites? Numbers five, ten and twelve.

You’ve got 320 emails in that inbox, you’re already late for the next meeting and you haven’t even had a cup of coffee! Our lives are consumed by overloaded calendars, and sometimes, it feels like we can never catch a break. The to-do lists keep growing, and stress levels are at an all time high. That’s why when we’re feeling frazzled, it’s important to take a step back. Yes, this requires moving away from the screen!

The good news is that you don’t need to set aside a lot of time to relax and de-stress—just a few minutes throughout the day will do the trick. Below, our contributor Arin Agase of Heart of Chic has rounded up 20 ways to relieve stress in 20 minutes or less, all of which were designed to create a sense of calm during the tough times ahead.

“Do what you love, and you’ll never work a day in your life.” While this is an ever pin-able saying, in real life, it can be a lot harder than it seems to determine your dream job — even harder to actually land it once you decide what it should be. So today we’d thought we’d share this article from the Glitter Guide. They’re walking us through what it looks like to turn our passions into professions. Interested?

Do you fantasize about turning your passion into a full-time profession? Katelyn Wood has been there — and she’s (successfully) come out on the other side. Today, the founder of Love. Luck. Kisses & Cake shares her advice for making your dreams a reality.

Accompanying summer’s hot weather is often a decided lack of hair inspiration. Spending hours blow-drying or curling our hair can be unappealing when really we just want it up and out of our face. Because the Glitter Guide is one of our go-tos for easy hair and beauty tips, we asked them to share this simple braided crown tutorial below. It’s perfect for getting the best both of worlds, summery and stylish.

Who knew that a braided crown hairstyle could be so much easier to achieve than it looks? Cara McLeay is breaking this boho style down into six simple steps.

Instead of using makeup to turn us into someone we’re not, we’re always looking for new ways to amp up our natural features. That’s why we’re sharing this article today from the girls at the Glitter Guide. Sometimes, it’s simply mastering one little thing that completely changes our morning routine.

When it comes to amping up your look, don’t underestimate the power of the brow! Filling in your brows enhances the way that they frame your face and makes your eyes pop. Plus, it’s easier to accomplish than you may think! A few pro tips from makeup guru Suzanna Chun are below.

They’re all you need to step up your brow game, once and for all.
